Truly a wonderful man. He was a big positive influence in my childhood. Watching the love he had for Aunt Angie was like watching a great love story. I enjoyed hearing the stories about his long walks that kept him in good shape. When we saw him he always put a smile on our face. I looked forward to shaking his strong hand and seeing his beautiful smile. He was always sincere when he asked, how are you and your family doing. I loved him very much. We are all going to miss him. I think he is in a wonderful place with all his loved ones.

Dear Giacalone Family, We’re so sorry to hear about Mr.Giacalone. He was such a nice, and friendly man always eager to greet you. As did his late wife. Always calm and cheerful and NEVER anything negative to say about anyone. We have nothing but fond memories of him and the late Mrs. Giacalone. They were by far the sweetest Italian lovebirds I’ve come to know and love. It didn’t matter who you were, or if they knew you or not, they always made you feel like a million bucks. Dearest cousins Maria, Angela, Sal and family… my sister, Lora, shared with me today that your Dad passed away. I’m so sorry to hear the news and my heart, prayers, love and thoughts are with you all. Growing up, I remember Uncle Joe and your Mom as two of the sweetest most genuine people (actually your whole family). Both of their smiles lit up the room. Their love for one another was so beautiful. I hope you’re surrounded by loving family and friends to help you through this time. Most of all, that you’ve placed your faith and trust in God, who is our Comforter. In John 11:25 Jesus says, “I am the resurrection and the life.
