Gloria Corral Navarro's Obituary
Gloria Corral Navarro was Pedro Corral’s and Guadalupe Flores’ 8th child born out of 10 total. She was born on September 2, 1942 in Durango, Mexico. She found the love of her life, Vicente Navarro whom she married and enjoyed 55 years together. Her primary job was taking care of the family as a homemaker, but she also had experience as a seamstress. She has lived in Durango, Mexico; Las Vegas, Nevada; Fresno, California; and San Diego, California.Gloria was active with church, family, and friends. She attended Our Lady of Guadalupe, and Saint Jude Catholic churches. She always felt that, “with God, all things are possible” and it showed in how she treated others. She was active in helping Native Americans with their schooling and giving towards the church funds to help various groups of people.She was a very loving and faithful woman who prayed for those in need. She was proud of her beautiful children. Gloria loved music of all kinds, both in Spanish and English. She also enjoyed making art and ceramics.She is survived by her husband, Vicente Navarro; her sons, Danny and Jose; her daughter, Elena; and two grandchildren, Patrick and Joshua. They along with Gloria’s friends will all miss her greatly.
