Good Bye Prima, I know our distance didn't provide us seeing each other like we would have liked to, but I know in your heart and my heart we had "PRIMA LOVE!!!" Every time we talked on the phone, it was so nice to hear your voice and that giggle laugh that no one will ever forget. I came to know Gloria when she attended NATIONAL CITY JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL. Skinny little girl with a big smile and infectious laugh. I was 2 grades ahead of her. One day she asked me if she could be my campaign manager when she heard I was running for 9th grade Queen of Hearts. I'd be honored I said. She made campaign signs and was a real help. When voting day approached, I jokingly asked Gloria who she was voting for. To my surprise she so innocently answered "Maria Covarrubias"…And Maria won ! Even though that was 50 years ago, I still get a good laugh when I think about my old NCJH memories. R.I.P Gloria….
