Gloria Razo Valdez April 2, 1931 – September 28, 2016Gloria was born in San Diego California on April 2, 1931 to Francisco Razo and Josefina Delgadillo. Gloria’s siblings are Maria Magdalena Soto (DOD 10/21/1975) Crescencia Razo who currently resides in Anaheim, CA, and Victor Lozano (DOD 10/14/1952).Gloria married Onofre Valdez on March 14, 1954 – June of 1968. They produced 6 children, Jose Onofre Valdez (DOD 11/9/2015), Gloria Patricia Valdez Brown (DOD 5/19/2013), Victor David Valdez, Genoveva Valdez, Bruno Simon Valdez and Vicente Tomas Valdez.Gloria graduated from San Diego High School in 1949. She had an artistic talent and wanted to become a Cartoon Artist. She was saddened by the loss of her mother in 1954 and devoted her life to motherhood. Gloria was hired by San Diego Transit in 1971 as a Telephone information Clerk then started driving buses in 1974 and retired in 1982. Gloria enjoyed her retirement for 34 years but always missed driving. She could tell you bus stories to no end. She cared for grandkids, traveled, and for most of her time loved to watch the CSI TV series. She loved spending time in the backyard watching hummingbirds, writing poems and remembering her children that passed before her. Gloria has 11 Grandchildren, Adela Gina Valdez, Victor David Valdez II, Michelle Brittany Valdez (DOD 3/8/2016), David Alexander Valdez, Reynaldo Raul Guerrero, Ruben Angel Guerrero, Roman Michael Guerrero, Bruno-Simon Valdez, Veronica Alicia Valdez, Frank Onofre Valdez and London Paige Valdez. She has 1 great grandson, Connor Valdez. Gloria also leaves behind 3 Daughters-in-law, Dorothy Valdez, Rebecca Sanchez Valdez and Vonda Valdez. Gloria was a tough single mother and she was a survivor. She loved God and gave her life to Christ. She deserves the highest honor on what she accomplished. Gloria is a tremendous loss to our family. We will miss you Mommy. RIP with your Lord and Savior.The sky is clear the wind is warm, its gently blowing through the trees. The rustle of the leaves are soft to hear, when the wind blows through the trees.
