Gurmit Kaur Kang's Obituary
Gurmit Kaur Kang born on January 4, 1940 in India to parents Inder Singh Pannu and Sant Kaur Dhillon entered into eternal rest on June 25, 2022 in El Cajon, California. A resident of San Diego for over 11 years. Gurmit was a respected and loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, mother in law, aunt, grandmother and friend. Gurmit married her husband Uttam Singh Kang, whom she spent 44 years with until his death on September 21, 2010. Together they raised a family of four children; Parmjit, Surinderpal, Jaspal and Pritpal who unfortunately left us on December 7, 1991. She also had a special love and bond for her six Grandchildren and 1 Great-grandchild. Gurmit was a loving caring woman who was adored by all, she had so much love to share. She always took care of her family and prepared fresh home cooked meals. Her favorite thing to do was sewing, she pieced together some of the most beautiful dresses and clothes. It is evident that she will forever be missed yet never forgotten. May she rest in eternal peace with her husband Uttam and son Pritpal.
