Biography of Mrs. Vo Thi HanhMy mother was born on March 13, 1919 in My Tho, Vietnam.She was the 7th daughter of Mr. Vo Van Ty and Mrs. Nguyen Thi Thanh, is a godly family at Rach Mieu in My Tho. My Grandparents had 7 children: two boys and five girls. He helped establish the first church at My Tho in the 1940s. My mother used to sing hymns that she memorized from the teaching of the early missionaries such as Rev. Carlson, Rev. Jeffrey, to calm her children to sleep, so that we have the word of God from childhood. My mother’s fifth brother was the late Pastor Vo Thanh ThoiOur parents have nine children: four boys, five girls, with 14 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. All of them now live in the United States. It is a gift that God has given to our large familyHere is our Mother’s advice to her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren:• Be faithful to worship God and serve Him, complete your education• To pray to God for strength, “I can do all things through Christ who strengtheneth me..” (Philippians 4:13) Thank God for his wisdom to learn and live, in whatever circumstances• Must follow the example of our Grand Father Vo Van Ty, faithfully follow Christ even under persecution.Our Mother, at the age of 93, was called by The Lord Jesus Christ to His heavenly home at 7:40 AM, on Saturday morning, July 7, 2012, at Sharp Hospital Hospital, San Diego, CA.
