Harlin E. Baldwin's Obituary
Harlin Erving Baldwin was born on April 2nd, 1927 to Leo and Lucille Baldwin in Ellicottville, New York. Where he lived until 1952. Harlin was an only child who grew up to be a smart and loving guy. After high school, he joined the U.S. Navy on December 28, 1943, serving his time in Word War II. Harlin earned medals from his service. He left the military in 1946. Harlin took some college classes and ended up working as a Machinist in the Aerospace industry for 30 years, retiring in 1989. Harlin maried the love of his life, Ms. Florence, on May 3rd, 1947. Some of his favorite hobbies and past times were collecting coins, investing in the stock market, and caring for animals. After he retried, he loved spending time with his family and playing Bingo. He also enjoyed Western movies (mostly with John Wayne), and watching Perry Mason. Harlin passed away at the age of 91 in San Diego, California on January 18th, 2019. He is survived by two children: Linda Davis and Janice Van Havermaat, 5 grandchildren, and 3 great-grandchildren.
