Helen Chimits was born in Casper, WY and raised in Greybull. She was a fifty plus year resident of Lemon Grove, CA, and passed away 8/10/2015, on her 83rd birthday. Helen was predeceased by her husband Albert of 39 years in 2005. Read Obituary
It's Christmas morning. Last week I called Helen's phone number only to find it out of service. I just discovered today that she passed away in August. Helen became my cousin when her father Dwight married my Aunt Hazel Bennett. I really liked her and enjoyed visiting with her throughout the many years that followed. In the short time I knew Helen I was always impressed at her positive attitude and comments. Helen struck me as having an adventurous heart.
Aunt Helen was always the sweetest person and very determined. I will always remember her driving herself to Pacific Beach to visit my mom when she was living up here. She didn't want to wait around for someone to take off work and drive her, so she did it herself. She was genuinely a beautiful person. She will be missed. She is certainly with the angels.
