Helen Grepo Guerrero's Obituary
Helen (Tia LaLa, Aunt Helen, Grandma Helen, and Beloved Sister) was born and raised in San Diego, California to Anthony Grepo, who was from Cavite City, Philippines, and Maria Estrada who was from Mazatlán, Mexico. She was the sixth of eleven children and the fourth of five sisters. She married her neighbor sweetheart, Tony Guerrero, who preceded her in Life’s Journey in 1986. Both Tony and Helen had a love and pride in cabinetry and woodworking. They ran their own furniture business, Pine-Co, from their own shop, and years later from their garage. At the age of 84, Helen was the Matriarch of the Grepo Family. She is survived by her sister, Beatrice Grepo Sacay and brother, Tony Grepo. Although she bore no children, she shared her love with numerous nieces, nephews, in-laws, distant relatives and friends who will miss her dearly. Helen was always very festive and loved her Mexican Music. Particularly Mariachis and her passion for dancing. She always had an open heart. She was always available to anyone who needed her comfort and love. She was known for being a very strong willed woman and always lived life her way.PLEASE JOIN US FOR A MEMORIAL SERVICE Saturday, April 16, 2016 Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery & Mausoleum – Chapel 4470 Hilltop Drive, San Diego, CA 92102 9:00 am – Mass Follow by Services at grave site.RECEPTION: Elks Club 901 Elks Lane, Chula Vista, CA 91910 Time: 12:00 pm – 3:30 pm
