Helen G. Reeder's Obituary
Born on December 22, 1927 in San Diego, CA. Where she lived until her demise on August 10, 2024. Her parents were Raymond Garcia and Jennie O. Garcia. She attended schools in San Diego. She was very proud to have attended High School and the “Old Grey Castle”, San Diego High School. She graduated in 1946. After graduation, she began a career at Convair, where she retired from. She went on to work at Dean’s Photo. Helen lived in El Cajon, CA with her husband Harvey A. Reeder. They were married at the Immaculate Conception, Catholic Church 2540 San Diego Avenue, San Diego, CA on June 25, 1955. Her very special friend was Doreen Solorzano. She loved to go on bus trips to Las Vegas, Laughlin and the Casino’s around the San Diego area with her cousin Adela. The five words that I would use to describe Helen is: funny, strict, loving, helpful and strong. Helen loved to work with her hands, she loved to sew, make flower arrangements and work in the garden but favorite pass time was to eat!
