Helen Hamer Vreeland's Obituary
Helen Hamer Vreeland passed on Monday, November 28, 2022, just about 3 weeks shy of her 100th birthday. Helen is survived by 2 children, Jay Vreeland (Tina) and Donna Fontes (Jack); 3 grandchildren, Heather Pounds, Sara Schiebel (Aaron), and Tyler Vreeland (Tiffany); and 6 great-grandchildren. In February 1958, Helen married the love of her life, Jack, who passed in 1986. Helen lived in her home for about 58 years, until the age of 97. She was a longtime member of and had been very active in Eastern Star Harbor Lights Chapter. Helen worked for the telephone company in Seattle, WA prior to getting married and moving to San Diego.
