Herminia Brignoni, also known to many as "Mina" lived a very long life before going to her eternal home at 102 years old. Born in August 15, 1922 in Puerto Rico. Herminia was married and had two beautiful children; Gradiel Brignoni and Evette Brignoni "Rodriguez".
Mina moved from Puerto Rico to New York in the mid 40's and continued to work professionally as a seamstress for many years. In her 60's she battled and won over breast cancer. She remained cancer free for the rest of her many years.
She was a devoted Catholic member of the church and deeply faithful to the word of GOD. She loved many people and in turn, many loved her and her spirit. Mina also donated to various charities like St. Jude children's Hospital, Wounded Warrior project and Shriners Hospital. She was also honored by the VA by becoming a volunteer.
Herminia "Mina" is survived by her daughter Evette Rodriguez, her grandkids; Athena Nahrebny, Aaron Rodriguez and Arlette Martin, grand son-in-laws; Julian Martin Sr. and Joseph Nahrebny. She will also be remembered and missed by her great grandchildren; Julian Martin, Linda Rodriguez and Aubree Martin.
Mina will always be missed, loved and honored by all whom hearts were touched by her love and generosity in her community.
