Homer R. King's Obituary
Celebrating the life of Homer Russell King Homer was born on April 22nd 1938 in Gallant, Alabama. He was the youngest of 5 children. His parents were Cicero and Celoar “Belle” King. He attended Chula Vista High School in California. He served in the United States Air Force from 1955 to 1961 and was honorably discharged. He married Catherine Ann Catinella on March 18th 1978 in San Diego. He lived in San Diego and more recently in Temecula as of 2015. After leaving the Air Force, he worked for the City of San Diego for 25 years and retired in 1994. He loved watching baseball- The Padres and football-The Chargers. He loved taking long road trips with the family. He was a lifelong Baptist. Homer is survived by his wife Catherine and daughters Carol, Melissa, and Kristine and son Russell. And his sweet grandchildren Michelle, Cassandra, Breanna, Victor, Hailey, and Alexa.
