We say our final goodbyes to Tia Tencha. You see she is the last of Tata Fernando’s and Nana Audelia’s children. She is now with them including those who have passed before her, i.e. husbands, children, siblings, and friends. I’m thankful for all of those who are and have been, in our lives. Tia Tencha with her laughter, directness, and yes at times use of inappropriate language. I am grateful for what this family has given us, our idiosyncrasies', inherited disabilities, and ability to be successful. For the lessons learned from them are many, we will continue our journeys on earth, and will join them someday. Our dad, Hector, would say, our lives should be filled with adventures so when we join those who have passed, we have something to talk about, our stories.
