Dear Rita and Family,
The world will never be quite the same without your Mom. So happy to learn she was able to celebrate her 100th Birthday with you. Rita, I remember her kindness to me when you and I were young girls. In later years, when we would cross paths with your Mom, it was like time had never passed as she greeted us warmly. We were blessed to enjoy some of her performances at Starlight. When we lose our parents, grieving is normal, but sometimes it seems a struggle to find new ways to navigate life without them. That’s when we fully appreciate them! My memories of the Cantos Family--including our dear neighbors, Ted and Hilda, your Dad–and Esther--will always be special. And I am certain the Heavenly Choir already has a new voice. I would like to make a donation to an appropriate charity in memory of your Mom. Please advise on that. Keeping all of you in my prayers at this sad time.

What a wonderful woman she is who raised four wonderful children. I miss the days of leg of lamb for dinner (running away from home for dinner every now and then!), the tablespoon of olive oil at breakfast in the mornings, and her wonderful singing. Good memories from way back when Roxanne and I were young'ns! RIP Mrs. Cantos. We will all greet you again one day. Love, kisses and most important HUGS!
