Izabelle "Izzy" Reese's Obituary
The family will be having a Celebration of Life memorial service at the Hyatt Regency Mission Bay on Sunday the 27th of September at 5:00pm.The Love & Light of Sweet Izzy’s LifeOur beautiful daughter, Izabelle Michelle Reese, was born April 16, 2014, in San Diego, California. When God blessed us with a second child, we knew she was born to tell a story. Every child is a blessing. Little did we know the influence our sweet girl would have on the world. Her story is one of beauty, grace, strength, faith, hope, and LOVE.God undoubtedly had His hand in naming our daughter. Izabelle’s middle name is after a close family friend, Michelle Elizabeth Lent, who also became an angel so soon. The meaning of Izabelle is “Devoted to God,” Michelle means “Gift from God,” and Reese means “Ardent and Fiery.” Born in April, her birthstone is the diamond. Diamonds symbolize affection, strength, eternity and everlasting love. It is the most radiant and desired gemstone. God gifted us with a strong, feisty, passionate, affectionate and loyal angel. We couldn’t be more blessed. Each attribute that Izabelle represents personifies her perfectly. Certain flowers have specific meanings – the sentiment behind the flower gives the gift its meaning. The flowers associated with Izzy’s birth-month are daisies and peonies. Daisies represent innocence and peonies exemplify healing. Her innocence through struggle gave realization, a healing, of what we should most highly prize. Izzy passed on to eternity on September 11, 2015. The flowers that represent the month in which she rejoined our God in Heaven are asters and forget-me-nots. Asters represent contentment, and she will forever be remembered. Now our sweet, innocent little lady is forever healed in a state of happiness. What an honor to know the beautiful angel who watches over us.We can never fathom the number of people affected by Izabelle’s life. She certainly influenced our lives greatly. We are forever changed because God granted us to care for His beautiful angel for a short while. From the second she entered our lives, she was undoubtedly the sweetest thing we’d ever laid eyes on; hence the name “Sweet Izzy.” People who met her agreed she had a sense of peace and beauty. God had a distinct purpose for Izzy’s life. She accomplished so much in her short 16 months. We are remarkably proud of her. We are humbled, honored, and forever changed by her love and life. She leaves behind a family who loves her enormously, including Izzy’s favorite person and best big brother, Jayden, her loving parents, Brad and Debbie Reese, and countless people who love her greatly. We think of her and miss her every day and look forward to seeing her again. Until then, we will continue to live a blessed life, trying to see the world through our beautiful daughter’s eyes – thankful for life and grateful for eternity. Thank you to those who allowed our Sweet Angel Izabelle to bless your life. In loving memory of our Sweet Izzy, God’s perfect gift will forever live on.
