Jaime Urbano Jr.'s Obituary
Jaime Urbano Jr, son to Jaime and Angelina Urbano was born on June 11, 1986, the third of five siblings. He married his wife Margaryta on February 14th, 2014. He welcomed his son, Jaime, and his two daughters, Solomiya and Anastasiya, who were the most important parts of his life. He was a devoted father, enjoyed traveling, comic books, and debating movies.
He was a proud and dedicated combat engineer for the US Army Reserve and worked for the Federal Bureau of Prisons. His medals include Army Commendation medal, Army Reserve Component Achievement, National Defense Service Medal, Global War on Terrorism Medal, Army Service Ribbon, Overseas Service Medal, Outstanding Volunteer Service Medal with a deployment to Kuwait and Syria.
Those who knew Jaime will remember him for his overwhelmingly loud laughter and his twisted sense of humor. His passing has left a void in the hearts of his family and friends. Although Jaime’s physical presence may no longer grace our lives, his memory will be kept alive through his family.
Jaime is survived by his wife Margaryta Urbano and his children, Jaime Taras, Solomiya Zoya Angelina, Anastasiya Alicia Enedina, and his parents Jaime and Angelina Urbano. He also leaves behind his sisters Joann Elias, Yvette Canaday, Jennifer Kerns and his brother Santiago Urbano, his nieces and nephews who adored him, among them are Elizabeth Hooper, Nailea Elias, Alina Elias, Esmeralda Kerns, Emilia Canaday and his nephews, Raymond Elias and Patrick Kerns.
There are no words that can express how grateful we are to our family for their unwavering support, and to his Army Reserve Squad and BOP family, along with his community of friends near and far who have been so generous. We thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
The family will hold a Family and Friends memorial on Monday, December 1st between 5-8pm at Greenwood Memorial Park and Mortuary -4300 Imperial Ave, San Diego 92113. Burial service will be held December 2nd at 10:15 am at Miramar National Cemetery -5795 Nobel Dr San Diego 92122.
