James L. Doherty was born in Freeport, Illinois on June 5, 1935 to proud parents Mildred Gruis and Lavern Doherty. He passed away peacefully in his residence in San Diego, California on May 3, 2021 at the age of 85.
James leaves to cherish his memory his five loving children: Kelli Kaelber, Erin Karnetsky, Jamie Wilson, Teresa Kulas, Deena Eskenas; eight grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; siblings: Janice Ontiveros and family and Jeannine Bethanis and family.
