I didn't know Jan very well, but every time I saw her, she was smiling that gorgeous smile. I remember her laughing, too. My prayers are with you all. It isn't easy to lose a loved one, but it's easier when they have been struggling with limitations of ill health. I hope you all can get some rest. Jan was called ?Mom? by more than her 3 children because she sincerely cared about her friends and family. Everyone was warmly welcomed in the Copher home and treated as family. When my husband and I moved to Escondido from Los Angeles County we were so tired after the move, she made a chicken dinner and provided a room in her home for us to stay overnight. Her love of people spread to her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Her friendships lasted a lifetime, she will be deeply missed.
