Jane, You will always be my very special friend.. I remember the day this picture was taken in my backyard. We had just returned from Selby Gardens and celebrated your 80th birthday. I've missed you so much since moving from California, but I will always treasure the memories of our wildflower walks in the canyon below my house, the hikes in the mountains, Oak Oasis, and at your home. You taught me so much about nature. I have never met another person with as magnificent a spirit as you. I feel so blessed that you came into my life. I will miss you so much. Love, Nancy

Jane, It is Sunday and I am missing our long, thoughtful botany talks — but I know you are looking down and smiling on all of Earth's greenery. I miss you — but treasure so many memories including our trips to the Amazon, Machu PIcchu, botany walks in California and Florida, graduations of the boys, and so many things we shared.
