Jason Randal Gordon's Obituary
Jason Gordon was born on February 3, 1978 to Gerald and Delores (Brooks) Gordon of Lexington, Missouri. He passed away suddenly and tragically on January 19, 2020 at the age of 41.
Jason grew up in a small-town, Lexington, MO and was loved and respected throughout the community. He graduated from Lexington High School in 1996 as a valued teammate and leader, serving as captain of the basketball and football teams, earning all-conference honors and was a member of the 1995 state championship football team. He went on to attend college at Northwest Missouri State University and graduated from Ashford University with a Bachelor of Arts in Sports and Recreation Management and a Master of Business Administration. Following graduation Jason moved to San Diego and began his career with Tiffany & Co. Jason was always proud of his Lexington, MO roots and remained a huge Kansas City Chiefs fan.
It was in San Diego that Jason met his wife and soulmate, Katie (Judd) Gordon. Their love story was truly special. Jason and Katie were married on June 9, 2017 surrounded by their loving family and friends. On November 18, 2018, they eagerly welcomed their twin girls, Malea Ashbey and MaKayla Ann. Jason was a natural father from the very beginning. He woke up with Katie for every feeding, was always the first to change their diapers, looked forward to his morning cuddles, and made sure Katie and the girls were top priority. He loved being Malea and MaKalya’s daddy.
Jason Gordon was an exceptional man – a wonderful father, a loving husband, and a devoted friend. Jason made an incredible impact on every life he touched, he will always be remembered for the example he set – a life filled with genuine kindness, loyal friendships, big smiles and a heart filled with giving.
Jason was survived by his wife Katie and their two girls, Malea and MaKayla. His mother Delores Gordon and Stepmother Raylene Gordon, his two sisters Reagan Gordon and Lori Walker, his brother Lawayne Mosley, and his niece Jasmine and nephews Zane, and Corey.
His in-laws Patrick and Mary Judd, his brother-in-law Willie and sister-in-law Kate Judd, and niece Zoey and nephew Dylan.
His Step Grandparent Iris Rollet, his Great Aunt Leah Richie, Aunts: Joyce Brooks, Linda Brooks, Ewelleen Elliott, Rhonda Stoddard, Robin Butler, Rose Mansell, Uncles: William (Andrea) Gordon Webster, Dennis Danner, and many cousins.
He was preceded in death by his father Gerald Gordon, maternal and paternal grandparents, aunt and several uncles.
