Jerry Crutcher's Obituary
“JC”, Jerry was born January 31, 1963 in Limestone Alabama to the late Lillie Mae Rogers and the late Howard Crutcher. He attended West Madison Elementary School until 1970, when the family moved to Chattanooga Tennessee. After three years the family returned to Madison County Alabama where he continued his schooling. Jerry attended Butler High School. In 1990 Jerry moved to San Diego California and made California his home.
Over the next 20 years Jerry held numerous positions working in building maintenance, and services including working at the Anti-Submarine Warfare Base in Point Loma and also at Sharp Coronado Hospital at Coronado Island. He was injured in 2007 and retired. He loved the Ocean and fishing off the Pier and other local fishing spots. He liked classic muscle cars, and old TV shows form the 1960s to 1980’s. He spent a lot of time talking about our family and the things from our childhood growing up in Alabama. Jerry enjoyed the time that he spent with his children.
Jerry was preceded in death by his older sister Brenda Rogers of Huntsville AL and Nicole Crutcher of Indianapolis IN. Jerry leaves behind to cherish his memory two daughters, Alisha Crutcher of San Diego Ca, and Veronika Crutcher of El Centro Ca. He leaves a friend that he considered his own son Dondre Wells of Santee Ca. Also left to cherish his memory are
three sisters Carolyn Rogers, Lynne Rogers and Gwyn Rogers of Huntsville AL. Two brothers, Howard Crutcher of Montgomery Al, and Larry Rogers of Lake Elsinore Ca. Numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and one Aunt. Ocie Twitty Crutcher of Athens, Al.
Jerry transitioned to be with our Lord on Tuesday December 26, 2022. He will never be forgotten, he is loved by his family. Jerry will be reunited with those loved ones who have gone to be with our Lord, his parents, sisters Brenda and Nicole, and others whom he loved, and loved him.
