Jesse Matthew,
Fighting to find you, to be a part of your life, was worth the gift of having you, if only for a few months. It was a blessing to share where you got your name, your traits, your culture, your looks... and you do look just like your father... From your creativity to your desire to just go fishing, you felt like home. Midnights with Mac Miller, connections, and conversations about things that really matter will always be in our hearts... We wish you weren't right about so many things though. The gratitude is overwhelming that our last words were I love yous and that you knew you were always wanted. We are so sorry you felt so broken and suffered so much. You have been born again into peace and clarity that is divine. Now you know. Now you are free. It doesn't matter who recognizes our bond, as long as we know. We love you Son... past, present, and future.
Always,
The father who gave you life,
& the woman who wishes she did
