Jesus Mecina was born on July 5, 1923 in Mexico to proud parents Agapita Mecina and Martín Alvarez. He passed away peacefully at his niece Yolanda's residence in San Diego, California on December 9, 2020 at the age of 96.
He leaves to cherish his memory his adoring wife Virginia Gutierrez Mecina; niece: Yolanda (Victor) Mariscal; nephew: Ramiro (Violet) Gutierrez; nephew: Enrique Solis.
