Jesus Toriz, beloved husband, father, grandfather, father-in-law, uncle, cousin, and friend, peacefully passed away surrounded by his wife and children on January 17, 2025, in California. He was 79 years old.
Jesus was born on December 31, 1945, to his parents Eduviges and Luis Toriz. Jesus was a devout Catholic, and a man of great faith. He prayed the Rosary daily, and taught his family the love of God through actions. He had patience, will, and determination. He was a man of his word.
Jesus is survived by his loving wife, Bertha Toriz, of 56 years, with whom he shared many cherished memories. Jesus was a devoted father to three children, Luis (Cristina), Rocio (Wayne), Nicé-Bertha (Matthew). He will be forever cherished and remember by his seven grandchildren, Luis, Daniel, Adrian, Santiago, Joaquin, Isabella, and Anthony.
Jesus will be remembered for his kind heart, unwavering love for his family, warm smile, and his enduring spirit. His memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
