Jesus Macias Torres' Obituary
Jesus Macias Torres
(1951-2023)
Jesus Macias Torres passed away peacefully on January 29, 2023 due to complications of dementia. He was born on February 27, 1951 in Mexico City to Jesus Torres Diaz and Irene Macias Monroy. He grew up with his seven sisters and one brother. He loved to play soccer, listen to music, and dance. Jesus first met his lovely wife, Rosalba, in passing, but for him, it was love at first sight. Soon after he was approached by Rosalba's brother to be her chambelan for her quinceanera. An invitation that he gladly accepted. A few years later, Jesus and Rosalba married on February 3, 1974 in Mexico City and relocated to San Diego, California, to start their life together while still remaining close to his family in Tijuana. He worked hard as a mechanic and heavy-duty repairman to provide a life of opportunities for his daughters. He was a devoted husband and dedicated father. Jesus will be remembered by those who loved him as a man of strength, integrity, and graciousness. He is survived by Rosalba, his wife of 49 years, four daughters, seven grandchildren, and of course his beloved dog, Charlie.
