Jo Ann Brown's Obituary
“Behind me and before me is God, I have no fears”.Jo Ann Brown, 77 of El Cajon, CA was born April 21, 1939 to proud parents, John “Jack” Arthur and Mable Argeree Griffen-Harbert in Corpus Christi, Texas. Upon completing her formal education, Jo Ann relocated to San Diego, CA and later settled in the city of El Cajon. Later in life, she met and married Elmo Brown. Together they raised four children. Jo Ann worked in the family home as a Homemaker for many years. She loved spending time with family and friends, especially her church family at New Hope Friendship Missionary Baptist Church. On February 27, 2017, the Lord called Jo Ann home. She crossed the bar peacefully surrounded by her loving family. Those left to cherish her memory include her daughter, Sylvia Arnold, sons, David Brown, Darryl Brown, and Christopher Brown. Sisters, Melba Zanders and Marion Everhart Grandchildren, Rikki, Jordan, Austin, Destiny, David, Letitha and Kloey One great grandchild A Special Neice, Tinky She was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Jackie Lee White
