JoAnn Erickson's Obituary
A lifelong San Diegan, JoAnn “JoJo” Erickson was proudly born to parents Lucy “Lou” and Owen “Red” Edwards, whom she peacefully joined on 5.20.22 at 81 years young. She was surrounded by family and her adoring companion and husband of 61 years, Clifford “Cliff” Leslie Erickson. They were as perfect a match as one could imagine, leading a life devoted to each other and their two sons David (Gayle) and Michael, grandchildren: Bethany, Rebecca (Vince) Sexton, Vanessa, Theo, Bud Arriola, John Arriola, Carson Roush, great-granddaughter Geneva Rose, and numerous extended family members, all left to honor her memory.
JoAnn had a special heart for animals and a quick wit. A natural beauty, JoAnn was the homecoming queen for her graduating class at Helix High. She was loving, honest, a leader, a caretaker, and above all, she was ours. Many will miss her smile and laugh and share fond memories playing cards, water skiing, camping, and spending time in her beautiful home of 37 years where she loved to host friends and family. Celebration of life services to be announced at a later date.
