Joe Jacquez, aged 73, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 2, 2024, after living a long, fulfilling life.
Born on July 12th, 1951 in San Diego, CA, to Jose Jacquez Sanchez and Cruz Venegas Jacquez, Joe was one of ten siblings. His early years were filled with sports. He played little league baseball, high school basketball, and earned his black belt in Taekwondo.
Joe's faith was a cornerstone of his life, being a member of Our Lady of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. His passions included sports, singing along to Oldies music, and watching classic Western films. However, his greatest joy of all was undoubtedly the time spent in the company of his family.
On June 28th, 1975, Joe married the love of his life, Juana Jacquez. He is survived by his children, Patricia, Christina, Margarita, and Jose, and his grandchildren, Miguel, Kenneth, Christopher, Alex, Selene, Maura, and Khloe, and his great-grandchild, Camila.
Joe Jacquez will be remembered for his profound love for his family, unwavering faith, humorous attitude towards life, and his compassionate heart. Joe's spirit will continue to inspire and guide his family, as they cherish the memories he left behind.
