Joe Pak Un's Obituary
Joe Pak Un was born on March 3, 1939 in Cambodia to Hahk Un and Cheang Klang. Joe was the first born child out of two. He ended up attending the University of Cambodia where he earned a Bachelor’s degree. He then pursued a career as an Electrician. Later, he also enjoyed being a Baker for a family donut business. He retired in 2005 after 20+ years of service. Joe was a loyal and hardworking man, and a loving father and husband. He loved spending time with his family when he was not working. Joe especially enjoyed reading to his grandchildren and teaching them precious jewels of wisdom and integrity. He was also a very smart man, graduating top in his class in his university. Joe passed away on August 16, 2016 in San Diego, California. He is survived by his wife, Yan Ma; his three daughters, Malin Rybecki, Molly Becker, and Sinoeun Un; his son, Mony Un; and his grandchildren, Nicole, David, Serina, Ryan, and Julia.The Funeral Service will be on Saturday, August 27th, 2016 from 1:00 PM to about 3:00 PM at The Historic Salli Lynn Chapel at Greenwood Memorial Park & Mortuary. There will be a Witness Cremation Ceremony following the chapel service.
