Joel Quirino's Obituary
Joel Quirino Paredes, 62, entered his eternal rest with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on November 16, 2025, surrounded by his loving family. Born in 1963, Joel lived a life of devotion—as a husband, father, friend, and faithful servant of God. He played in a Christian band called “Canción Nueva.”Canción Nueva in English means, New Song. Along with his siblings, Canción Nueva sang and brought the Gospel of Amazing News of Jesus Christ for a little over 20 years. Together they touched the lives of so many through the inspiring message of Love and repentance of sin in Christ Jesus. Although he suffered of a brain tumor in the 90’s and other health conditions that prevented him from working, he never stopped going. Sometimes, he was found singing and at other times he was found sharing with Joy the Gospel that changes lives by inviting people to his home or playing gospel music. Joel’s life is a testament that miracles still happen today. His steadfast faith in Christ guided his every step, and he leaves behind a legacy of love, integrity, and service.
Joel’s greatest joy was his family, and he was a devoted husband whose love and support never wavered. He shared his faith openly, encouraging others with his time, kindness, and joy. His life was a testimony to God’s grace and the power of a servant’s heart.
He is survived by his beloved wife, children, and grandchildren, along with many friends and church family who will carry his memory in their hearts. A celebration of Joel’s life and faith will be held at Lugar de Encuentro,9400 Campo Rd. Spring Valley, CA 91977 on 12/10/2025 at 6:30 pm.
