John Edward Jones "Jock"'s Obituary
John Edward Jones, or as most knew him “Jock” was born on March 4th, 1941 in McRoberts, Kentucky to his proud parents Paul Lee Jones of Alabama and Buncie Marie Rutherford of Kentucky. John decided he wanted to serve our country and joined the United States Marine Corps. He dedicated about 30 years as a marine and retired as a master gunnery sergeant. Jock met the love of his life, Elizabeth Marie Jones, whom he married and from their union grew their family by three beautiful children. Jock resided in sunny San Diego, California with his family for about 37 years. On January 9th, 2019 the lord called Jock home. He is survived by his wife and his three children. He will be missed dearly by his family and friends.
