I was so sorry to hear of John's passing. The first time he came to my house, I remember he had a mohawk. At first I was a little surprised, but then I told him my son had had that haircut off and on, so it wasn't really that shocking. He did so many things for me from putting up Christmas lights to ripping out cupboards to painting a fence. He was always so friendly and professional at the same time. I could trust him to do the work even if I wasn't here. I will never forget the time I called him because a ceiling fan quit working. He came out and discovered that all I needed to do was replace the battery in the remote. He just gave me a bemused look; I felt so dumb. Then we laughed about it, and he asked if I needed help with anything else since he was here. He talked about his family a lot, and I could tell he loved them so much especially his niece. One time his mom was with him when he came after hours to do a follow up on some exterior lights he had installed. I told her how lucky she was to have a son so talented and so nice. He will be missed by his clients and his family.
