Jorge R. Murua's Obituary
Jorge Murua was born in Sinaloa, Mexico on August 21st 1937. Despite losing his parents at an early age, he loved his childhood while being raised on his family’s ranch in Posole. He loved the sea and the great seafood of his homeland. He served in the Mexican military as a young adult. Later, Jorge moved to Tijuana and worked as a tire welder. It is there he met Rayito, and then ended up getting married. They then moved to San Diego to follow the American dream. Jorge worked for the city of San Diego as a janitor for 25 years. He had a very strong work ethic, always on time, and never missed work so that he was able to support his family. He would show up an hour early just so he wouldn’t be late. He was a good decent man who loved his wife. And even though he didn’t say it much, he loved his children too. We will miss his big smile, laughter and singing, his great sense of humor and quick wit.We love you dad and are going to miss you everyday. You were one of a kind. You’re now with your parents and siblings in heaven. Rest in peace.
