Jorge Escobar Talavera's Obituary
Jorge Talavera peacefully passed away on April 21, 2026. Born in Tijuana, Mexico, he spent most of his life in San Diego where he became a citizen. As the last living sibling and son, he has now reunited with his parents, Jose and Gerania Talavera, and his brothers, Art and Joe, in heaven.
Although Jorge never married or had children, he took immense pride in being an amazing uncle to his close nephews, Marcos and Arturo (Churo). Jorge was also a great son, brother, and friend.
In his younger years, Jorge had a passion for travel and the great outdoors. He was an avid coin collector and loved animals, especially his dog and best friend, Chucky, who he is also survived by.
Jorge was known for his great sense of responsibility and integrity. Cherished and loved, he will always be remembered.
