Jose Sanding Dragon Jr. “JoJo” is survived by his beloved wife Mildred, his two sons; Joel and Michael, and his four grandsons Joshua, Noah, Maximus and Magnus. Along with his 2 Sisters Eunice and Maria “Clytie”.
Jojo went to Cavite High School and Graduated in 1968. Shortly there after he began to attend Far Eastern University in Manila where he met Mildred. He later joined the US Navy in 1975 as a Disbursement Clerk. In 1976, he rekindled his relationship with Mildred and they got married in a civil ceremony on 1/2/1977. They married in the church on 9/11/1977 and exactly 1 year later, Joel was born. Michael was soon to follow 11 months later. The young couple moved to San Diego in 1978 where he was stationed.
In the Navy JoJo was part of Operation Desert Shield and the cleanup efforts of the Exxon Valdez oil spill. Jojo was honorably discharged from the Navy in 1995 and began working for the dept of Veterans at the VA Medical Center in La Jolla. JoJo retired in 2015. Jose often spend his time fishing, gardening and gambling at the different San Diego casinos. He often gave away his prized fruits and plants to friends and family.

Jojo loved to watch Fox News and TV Patrol on The Filipino Network.
Jojo was diagnosed with lung cancer in May 2018 and died Dec 22, 2019 peacefully surrounded by His wife 2 sons,their spouses and grandkids in his home.
