Jose Camacho Pangelinan's Obituary
Jose Camacho Pangelinan, also known as “Peling/Pangy/Bochang,” passed away at the age of 76 years on July 10, 2018, in San Diego, California. He is predeceased by his son, Joseph, whom he now joins in Heaven. He is survived by his wife, Lou, who remained at his side and shared 52 years of marriage before his passing. Jose is also survived by his two daughters, Claire (Jeff) De Soto, Lola (Tony) Santos; six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Before marrying his wife, Lou, he had served in the U.S. Army. He worked as a warehouse associate in shipping and receiving and continued in that line of work for over 40 years. Jose served in the Catholic church ministries as a Eucharistic Minister and is a member of the Saint Anthony of Padua Church, Knights of Columbus, Council No. 12681, Magellan Assembly No. 2063. He is well-known among the Chamoru community and is a member of the Sons and Daughters of Guam Club in San Diego. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
