Jose Jacquez Sanchez's Obituary
Jose Jacquez Sanchez was born on February 24, 1922 in Copala, Sinaloa, Mexico, to Maria Sanchez de Jacquez and Jose Jacquez DeLeon. He grew up in Copala with his parents, brothers, sisters, aunts and uncles. He left his hometown as a very young man, immigrated to the United States and became an U.S. citizen. Jose worked in the construction field as a plasterer and continued in that occupation until he retired in the late 1970’s.During 1949 he met his soon to be wife, Cruz Venegas Jacquez and they were married for 63 years until Cruz’s death in 2013 at the age of 94.Jose and Cruz had a total of 10 children between both of them. Miguel Amaro, Pedro Amaro, Pascual Amaro, Cesar Amaro, Irma Amaro, Olga Ramirez, Jose Jacquez Jr., Richard Jacquez, Norma Jacquez and Carmen Lujan (Jacquez). Jose and Cruz had the blessing of 20 Grandchildren, 32 Great Grandchildren and 7 Great-Great Grandchildren. It breaks our hearts to lose him and we will miss you dearly, Jose, our Dad, our beloved AbueloWe love you so very much. You will live in our hearts forever and ever.
