Celebrating the Life of a Strong Man I know, I call him Dad
He was born on December 12, 1933 in Pochotitan, Nayarit, Mexico. He was the 2nd of 7 children his parents Juan Enrique & Maria Guadalupe Ibarra had. His siblings are: Rodrigo, Guillermo, Enrique, +Raul, Hector, and Ofelia.
He married the love of his life Oliva Victoria on April 8th, 1961 at approximately 8:00 am. On their special day they were accompanied by +Agripina & +Ramiro Victoria, +Lupe & +Enrique Ibarra, Manuel & Elvira Ybarra, as well as Ogarita & Rodrigo Ybarra.
He was a proud father of 5 Children: Miguel Angel, Enrique, Silvia, Maria Del Carmen, and Josue. Grandchildren: Yvonne Michelle, Miguel Angel, Victoria Venezia, Fatima, Luis-Enrique, JoseCarlos Jr., Grhecia Yuriko, Ylze Maria, Armando Cesar, & Oliva Victoria
Great grandchildren: Micah, Gabrielle, Kayla, Caleb, Jayden, Ja’nya, Jeremiah, Jonny, Jacob, Ja’leah, & Dominic.
Most of his life he worked in landscape maintenance even after being semi-retired in 2003. He continued to maintain his yard as well as some of his kid’s yards. He was involved as an usher at Our Lady of Mount Carmel in San Ysidro for a number of years then he became a faithful parishioner assisting in Mass services weekly.
Five words that describe this great man are: Strong, Loyal, Stubborn, Hardworking, and a Family Man in his own way. His favorite hobbies: Eating delicious food, Drinking his non-alcoholic beer, watching Baseball, Soccer, Boxing, and of course Wrestling. His favorite music / songs: ‘Cien Anos’ by Pedro Infante and ‘El Ultimo Beso’ by Vicente Fernandez.
