Jose Antonio Zaroni's Obituary
Jose Antonio Zaroni, 92, passed away on January 2, 2019, at the home of his daughter and son in law, Isabel and Randy Pissot. His family was with him at his bedside where he passed peacefully. “Joe” was born on August 16, 1926 in Agua Prieta, Sonora, Mexico to Alicia Gutierrez Roberts and Antonio Zaroni. Joe married his long-time sweetheart Isabel Robinson in April 1949. They moved to San Diego, California where they raised their four children and lived the rest of their lives. Joe worked in the lumber industry and belonged to a local union. He began his employment with American Lumber Company, San Diego in 1950. He later worked for Western Lumber, National City and retired from Boise Cascade in 1988. Joe is preceded in death by his wife, Isabel, his son, Daniel Montes de Oca and daughter, Celia Esquibel. He is survived by two daughters, Elsa Morales (Robert) of San Diego, CA and Isabel Pissot (Randy) of Ramona, CA. He is also survived by five grandchildren, Christopher Esquibel, Anthony Rodriguez, Michael Esquibel, Rob Morales, Marissa Wolf and nine beautiful great-grandchildren, Xavier, Alexander, Elena, Christopher, Carlo, Robert, Isabella, Jose and Hunter.
