Joseph Romarico De Leon's Obituary
Joseph De Leon Eulogy
On behalf of all of my wonderful mother and family, we would like to thank everyone who is able to attend our father’s services, and who have sent their deepest condolences to our family. We have received several calls, emails, texts, and messages, flowers, and gifts that have warmed our hearts and comforted us during this very difficult time in our lives. We love each and every one of you, and we appreciate your kind words from the bottom of our hearts.
Our father was a very funny person who loved to give life long lessons as he drove us around in the car. He had several life experiences that he would share with us that we will always remember. He loved to have fun and party. He loved dancing and hanging out with his fellow Military Veterans at the VFW. He loved to joke with his kids and always had funny things to say. He was a good listener but his responses were always short and sweet. Everyone in this room can tell you something funny about my dad or a good experience they had with him, whether it was telling funny military stories, asking for a coke or snickers candy bar, or coffee.
One thing that is for sure, is that my dad loved his family and kids very much. Even though my dad couldn’t remember half of our names we know we were loved. He would always do a role call down until he either remembered your name of he just said…”You know who you are come here”.. My dad was a hard worker and loved being in the military. He was United States Navy through and through. He was very proud to be in the Navy and encouraged all of the boys in the family to join the military for the experience.
Dad you will be missed very much and we love you so much. You will never be forgotten…LOVE YOU DAD!!!
