Joseph William Lavoie, a gentle man–a gentleman, of warm smile, bright eyes & kindly face has forever left me happy memories of him. An afterglow of smiles; his soft echo of happy, laughing, sunny days. His sun of happy memories has dried my tears. I knew him little more than a year. His was a healing spirit; he moved me deeply. He loved God, and tried to serve him. I expect to see him smile again in that bright land beyond time & tears. Friends are God-gifts. Joseph William was a friend.
