I served with Chief Stevens onboard the USS Lynde McCormick DDG-8 along with fellow shipmates Reggie Eubank Sr. and Eric Crawford. He was always a very professional sailor and exemplified what it was to be a true member of the U.S. Navy. He was truly a righteous man who treated all of his shipmates with respect and a smile. God Bless his immortal soul
