Julia Anne Lievanos' Obituary
Julia Lievanos, of El Cajon, passed away peacefully on May 31st from complications of Alzheimer’s Disease. Julia was born in San Diego on December 11th, 1939 to Margaret and Oliver Deen, and is survived by her brother Thomas Deen and sister in law Anne Deen, son Alex Lievanos and daughter in law Gaylene Lievanos, daughter Lesli Ancona and son in law Vince Ancona, and grandchildren, Emily and Nicolas Ancona and Alex Lievanos Jr. Julia worked for the telephone company for many years, retiring in 1995 to take care of her aging mother. She was a member of the Sierra Club, enjoyed the outdoors, sewing and crafts of all kinds and enjoyed helping out at her local animal shelter. Services to celebrate her life will be held at Greenwood Mortuary on Thursday, June 23rd at 10:00 in the Sally Lynn Chapel.
