June G. Chandler's Obituary
Ms. June Gladys Chandler passed away at the age of 79 years old in La Mesa, California on July 16th, 2018. She was born in Erie, Michigan on September 26th, 1938. She was the first born of five children to William and Gladys Shuff. June spent her childhood in Toledo, Ohio and graduated from DeVilbiss High School in 1956. She married Ronald Dean Chandler Sr. on March 24th, 1957 and they moved to Lakeside, California in San Diego County in 1967. They married for 18 years until Ron passed away on July 16, 1975.June was primarily a homemaker, creating a beautiful nurturing home for her growing family, but she also spent time working outside of the home as a PBX Telephone Operator and a Medical Insurance Biller. She retired in 2002 so that she could focus on her family, friends, and pets. She was a confident and strong-willed woman who knew how to take care of herself and her family. Besides her family, June loved going bowling, crocheting, playing cards, and Pogo. Her favorite style of music was Country music. Some of the most important events in her life were her wedding, and the birth of her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.June is survived by four adult children, Ronald D. Chandler Jr., Kimberley L. Bandy, Pamela A. Chandler, and Steven A.
