June Earline Durden, born on June 26, 1938 in New Orleans, Louisiana, to parents Justin Pecot and Gertrude Frances Pecot, entered into rest on May 10, 2023 in La Mesa, California. A loving daughter, sister, cousin, friend, aunt, wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She worked as a teacher for over 10 years. She married her love, Earnel Durden and together raised a family of 3 children; Michael Durden (+), Kevin Durden and Allan Durden. She was also honored to have shared her life with her 5 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. It is evident she will be missed but never forgotten. May she rest in peace.
