June Aviis Reed's Obituary
June Avis Reed was born on July 30, 1922 in Washington. Her parents were Polland and Gladys Walton, she was their only child. After graduation, she began her career as a bookkeeper for a bakery and served for over 25 years. After retirement she was involved in traveling, bicycling, gardening, wine tasting and golfing. She lived in Spokane and San Diego. She was married to Nick Reed and she was a member of the Canyon View Church of Christ. She was involved in my different organizations such as; Paralyzed Veterans, San Diego Rescue Mission, San Diego Center for the Blind, Salvation Army & KPBS. Her favorite activities were Arts and Crafts. June was witty, organized, creative and intelligent. Her favorite past times were her dogs, golfing, fishing, reading, crafts, and a supporter and fan of the San Diego Padres and San Diego Chargers. Her favorite music was from Vic Damone, Music Man and songs from the 40’s.Donations in Lieu of Flowers to go to: San Diego Center for the Blind
