Karen S. Ayres, age 78, passed away peacefully at her residence, Tuesday, June 18, 2024. She was born in Monrovia, CA, October 5, 1945, daughter of the late, Hershel and Pansy (Nee: Harrison) Wade.
On July 6, 1963, Karen was united in marriage to Dr. Loren Ayres. Last summer they were surrounded by family and friends in celebration of their 60th anniversary. Karen was a member of La Mesa and Bostonia Churches of Christ. As a young mom, Karen loved being involved with her two girls, including leading Brownie and two Girl Scout troops.
