Karina was my student at Roosevelt Middle School. I came to know her very well and we often talked about her goals and dreams……It saddens me that she will not be able to achieve all of those goals and dreams here on earth. We were so happy to meet Karina and her family when they visited NYC for Jonnys Bar Mitzvah four years ago. My daughter Annabeth enjoyed having a friend her age at the celebration. They had a lot of fun seeing the city.
