Kathryn Mendez's Obituary
Kathryn “Rosie” Mendez began her journey in this world on March 16, 1949, in San Diego, Ca, and passed away on June 26, 2023. Rosie was a loving wife to Mike Austin. She was also a mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Rosie spent over 35 years working for the Sweetwater Union High School District and loved teaching. Rosie raised her grandkids Diego, Brittney and Andrew. She loved and enjoyed spending time with her great grandkids Ayden, Ayviannah, Thera, Luna, and baby Andrew. Rosie was an inspiration to so many and loved with all of her heart. She will be missed dearly by all who knew and loved her. Rosie had such a big heart and will live on in all of ours forever. Rest in peace, Grandma.
